Over the years we have learned not to mix parties with slide shows. So, Saturday night we dance. Friday night we kick back and watch cool stuff.
The Friday night program is all about relaxing into the weekend. Here are your instructions: Get here earlyish, set your tent up, meet your neighbors, eat something then head to Dessertapalooza. This is your chance to eat way too much sugar. It will be worth it. There is nothing ordinary about our dessert extravaganza. Next, Be sure to get a real cup of coffee. Now it is time to sit back and enjoy some stories.
This year's program is coming together. We will be kicking off with Mountain Hardwear athlete, Freddie Wilkinson, presenting his new slideshow. Petzl athlete, Chris Lindner, be showing his new movie, Spray, which tells the story of a climbing journey exploring the northern coast of California with Joe Kinder, Luke Parady and others. JUST IN!! We have added a third slide show. We welcome Colorado climber Lizzy Scully to her first Rendezvous. She will be talking to us about her nonprofit organization, Girl Ed, which educates Pakistani girls.
