There are several categories for the Bouldering Comp, with men's and women's divisions for each category. Our goal is that all ability levels can find a way to compete within their comfort zone. Categories include:
Expert V7 and up
Intermediate V4-V6
Novice V0-V3
Kids-12 and under
All comps will operate on the honor system. Your top ten problems count toward your total score. Two witnesses must sign off on each problem. Highest number of points wins.
Register and pick up your score card on the Court House lawn in Fayetteville on Saturday morning, from 8:00-10:00. There will be a pre-comp orientation meeting at 9:00 on the Court House steps. You will get tips on conditions and any changes.
Chris Anthony's Sketches Bouldering Guide will be the official info source for the comp. It is no longer in print, unfortuanately, but we will make copies of different sections.
Total your card and return it to Water Stone Outdoors, or the Hospitality Tent at Burnwood by 6:00 p.m.
Cost for all comps: $30
