First of all, one of the biggest concerns we face every year with this event is responsible behavior, especially as it pertains to alcohol consumption. We don't mean to be preachy but please drink responsibly and with moderation, designate a driver, and plan on camping at Burnwood if you have something to drink. The NPS is very concerned for your safety and will be monitoring this aspect of the Rendezvous very closely. With that said a couple of ground rules:
Just like anywhere else in our fine country, YOU MUST BE 21 OR OLDER to consume alcohol. We will be checking ID's and issuing a limited number of wrist bands. NO ID, NO WRISTBAND, NO BEER FOR YOU.
DESIGNATE A DRIVER
DONT DRINK & DRIVE
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING. There will be a greater presence of law enforcement this year in uniform and in plain clothes, so BEHAVE YOURSELF. We know most of you do, but it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch.
Don't forget to bring your own cup! We won't have a stash of plastic to bail you out! Step Up or Stay Home!
prAna sponsors the No-booze Bar!! Once again, non-drinkers and the underage will have lots of fun choices. Choose a "mocktail" from the drink menu, it'll come with a garnish and a little umbrella so you feel festive! Or simply grab a soft drink and keep dancing! We will have plenty of water coolers spread around the venue so you can stay hydrated and happy.
